Helmet Gecko (Tarentola chazaliae) - 頭盔守宮

One of the favorite gecko that I loved. Not only the cute face (head) they have, but also they act like a fairy in the desert. Today one of the breeding group gave me the surprise of this first year…

These were the 1st group that I’ve put together as 2 males and 1 female. I fed them in every 2~3 days with cricket or meat worm and spry the UroFarm power to enhance the nutrition. These are the first 2 eggs that she produced. I hope the next few weeks I could have some more to come. Look forward it.

頭盔守宮，說真的是一種讓我又愛又恨的小傢伙；愛的是很少有這樣可愛頭大，行動起來快速而且有趣的小守宮；恨的是除了稀少，且價格高昂之外，相對而言捉摸不定的掠食及生活需求，有時真讓人傷透腦筋。今天在例行的清掃環境活動中，打開了一個沙子被堆滿到門口的小窩發現了這兩顆，著實讓人感到窩心與驚訝，圖片中的幾位小朋友，很易見的中間的那隻胖胖就是這兩顆蛋的媽媽，每次兩顆蛋的牠們，從比例上來看著實是一件不容易的事，接下來的幾個月希望開始能有所成果。
